The Yellowstone Christian College (YCC) Athletic Department is pleased to announce Jamil Santiel as our new Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Santiel holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Grace University in Math and Science.

Coach Santiel began his coaching career at his alma mater, Grace University in Omaha, NE. During his first year he helped lead the Royals to their first regional tournament appearance in three seasons. Santiel has coached at Nebraska Christian College (NCC) as the Lead Assistant the past three years, and helped lead the program to a Regional Championship, followed by an NCCAA D1 National Tournament appearance.

Coach Santiel has an intense passion for the sport and brings great energy and a vision to develop the YCC Men’s Basketball program into a contender. "First and foremost, I just want to take the time to thank everyone who has helped me along my path, especially God. No words can express how thankful and blessed I am for this opportunity. Knowing I have complete support from the entire staff and faculty here at Yellowstone Christian College, I am excited to begin this journey that is bigger than basketball. A journey that is a ministry dedicated to helping young men grow in their character, integrity, and spiritual maturity."

Yellowstone Christian College has a vision to build its varsity basketball programs into powerhouses of competitive greatness, representing Christ’s excellence for the glory of God. Athletic Director Brandon Rogers says, “Coach Santiel is a perfect fit for YCC athletics in our vision to perform on and off the court, representing Christ every day."
