My Focus is to help bring elite athletic training to competitive athletes from the high school to collegiate and even professional levels. I focus on developing the mind in an intense and competitive environment for my athletes while at the same time educating them on the mechanics of the body, when and how the muscles and body will fail during the course of competition and how to overcome those moments of muscle failure or physical short comings. I too want to help educate my athletes on the difference between in season and off season training; how to prevent injuries; and better nutritional targets for their nutritional plans.

I currently have my CFT (Certified Fitness Training) certification. I am working on receiving my Sports Nutrition certification both are from ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association). I will later be going after my national strength and conditioning coach certification through CSCS(Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist). For the last 3-5 years since my last days coaching with the Billings Outlaws I have trained in the private sector working with an array of athletes. I have worked with a professional boxer who ended up winning Montana’s Welterweight belt. I worked with a hockey player who went off to a college in Minnesota on scholarship. A baseball player who recently left for a junior college in Oregon. Two football players Zach Gratton who became 2
nd string safety for Univ. of Montana and JT Fitzgerald out of Rocky who at the 2013 Univ. of Montana pro day ran the fastest time with a 4.29 in the 40yd dash and was last noted to be playing Arena Football for the Spokane Shock. My largest crop of players have been my basketball players who my two biggest accomplishments came from Antione Proctor who went to Europe after training with me all summer and not only lead his team in scoring but also 2nd runner up for MVP of the league which he lost by 2 votes; and Jurell who like Antione trained with me the summer after graduating from Montana State Billings and won a spot on a team in Germany where he started the whole season.

Other than my athletes, my greatest achievements off the field are being a partner with my wife Traci Johnson in raising our kids Savannah “STAKKS” Taylor-Johnson (15); Tavion “BUGG” Johnson (6); and Kyrie “PNUTT” Johnson(2).
